Aptitude Tests are sometimes referred to as career assessment tests. These tests can benefit both the job seeker and the recruiter / prospective employer. As an employer the tests can confirm the candidates suitability for the type of job they are applying for.

As an example, a person looking for a clerical position in a bank, needs to rate highly in compliance and enjoy doing repetitive tasks. On the other hand, someone applying for a sales position needs high resilience and influencing skills.

Second in my series of presenting articles on specific jobs, I hace chosen Banking Jobs.

In common with a lot of other occupations, banking has not escaped the effects of internet technology ... in fact banking has probably been affected more than most.

The ever increasing and widespread use of ATM's and internet banking has reduced the need for direct contact between customers and bank employees.

However, there are many opportunities in banking besides the retail sector. For instance , there are prospects in commercial banks,federal reserve banks, saving loans and credit unions, to name a few.
