Dressing Tips For Your Interview

I am often asked what the correct dress code is for attending a job interview.
To a large extent it depends on the position you are applying for. However, in all cases you should dress smartly without going over the top. The main consideration is to be professional and create the impression that you have taken the trouble to dress appropriately… this also shows you have respect for the interviewer.
Do not overdress or wear clothes that are likely to offend… stick to conservative dark colors and avoid bright garish colors that are not appropriate for the workplace.
Of course, be sure to be well groomed as well. This is an important element of the overall impression you will create.
