The combination resume takes the best features of the functional resume and the chronological resume.

With the combination resume, the job seeker will still list the primary sections of Experience, Education, Skills and may also add additional categories; as needed.

Due to the fact that the combination resume takes features from two formats and combines them into one; it can be difficult to keep a combination resume to one page. It may be necessary for the resume to be two pages in length; however all effort should be made to keep it at two pages or less.
