When applying for a manufacturing position the type of resume you should use will depend heavily on the type of position you are applying for.
If you are applying for management, as in the manufacturing resume example below, it is best to use a chronological resume.
On the other hand if you are applying for an
assembly or line
position, you may better benefit you to use a functional or
combination resume.
Both of these resumes focus more strongly on skills where a
chronological resume focuses on strong employment experience and/or
education.
It would also be appropriate to include any information regarding
continuing education and special training. The applicant might also
wish to include specific information related to safety awards and/or
training.
