Receptionist Resume
When applying for a receptionist position, a job candidate can
generally use either a functional or a chronological resume format,
depending on their
specific situation.
There are some instances in which it would be best to use a functional
resume format:
- Frequently change jobs
- Frequent periods of unemployment
- Decided to change careers
The functional resume format allows the job seeker to
focus
more on skills and less on experience and education. Many
employers; however, prefer the traditional chronological resume format.
In order to take advantage of the benefits of both types of resume
formats a job seeker may also wish to use a combination resume format,
such as the one in the receptionist resume sample below.
